as a product designer and psychologist, the best thing that happened to me at stanford was the chance to staff lantana, our “design-thinking dorm.” all that term means to me is that we don’t blindly repeat what’s been done before – we prototype, we build, we empathize, and we create a truly innovative community that lasts far longer than the year that we live together in the same building. they say that “where you live is the best reflection of who you are.” i wrote and published intentional living, a book that serves as a collection of my personal actions and intentions (which ranged from remodeling a hidden nook, designing a style guide for the dorm, putting thought into the presentation of food, and more) that helped me transform lantana from a house, into a home. featured on amazon. a few snippets below:
