i started playing violin at the age of three and haven't stopped, since. i've had a great share of incredible musical opportunities, from being mentored by saxophone legend bobby watson to spending several years touring the world as a member of carnegie hall's national youth orchestra of the usa with the likes of joshua bell, valery gergiev, christoph eschenbach, michael tilson thomas, emmanuel ax, and other celebrated artists. my performances have been featured in strad magazine, my non-profit nyo-u is directly backed by carnegie hall, my original covers and recordings have reached over 500,000 listens on youtube, and my debut hip-hop album is featured on spotify.

as a designer, i've created my own line of electric violins, launched a new type of music stand on kickstarter, and published compositions on amazon + imslp. 

​

i founded & serve as the artistic director of the stanford flashmob orchestra. my studio album moonlight in the redwoods was jjust released this march.
